Your copper units can now be sealed and protected from sun, salt air, oxidation, tarnish and other damaging elements making them more convenient to clean with household dish soap or dishwashers. 

Our coating process keeps your mug looking great over time while also keeping the ice cold nature of your favorite mules and other iced drinks.

Authentic copper requires regular polishing with the proper copper cleaning solutions that can be purchased at most local convenient stores.  However, having an effective sealer or coating eliminates the need for a certified copper cleaner application.  

While many people prefer raw copper, others may prefer a sealed option for frequent use in kitchens, restaurants and bars.  Our Copper Seal Add-On is a great choice for the mule who loves the look and feel of authentic USA Made copper but prefers a convenient way to maintain the copper with regular use. 

Sealed or unsealed, your mugs are only recommended for use with cold or room temperature beverages and are NOT designed to be heated on a stove top or in a microwave due to the properties of authentic copper. (Please remember to allow your unit to cool down before handling as they will be hot to the touch right out of the dishwasher)   

Please note: Our sealing/coating process will require an added 2-4 day production time after your online purchase.  This process can be completed on any of our copper pieces including coasters, mugs, shooters, steins, money clips, hardware, etc. 

The listing price is per unit due to the detailed curing process required to add the sealer onto each unit.  At checkout, please add the quantity to reflect the number of copper units we are sealing for you.  Example: (3 mugs would be 3 total sealing applications or Quantity:3) Please note that a “set” of copper coasters is considered “Quantity:1” and does not require a seal add-on purchase for each individual coaster within the set.
