Mezcal Mule Recipe w/ Chile Powder & Cucumbers

When I want something refreshing vs spirit forward, the Mule is always an easy starting place. Enter the Mezcal Mule with a bit of a twist:

EL JEFE
1.5 oz Mezcal
.5 oz @grandezaliqueur
.5 oz lime juice
Ginger beer
Muddled cucumbers
Chile powder

Add 2-3 cucumber slices to a shaker with lime juice, mezcal and @grandezaliqueur. Muddle and shake. Dump in a copper mug (like this awesome @theamericanmule 100% copper mug made in Arizona), add ice and top with ginger beer. Add chile powder if you want some heat. Garnish with cuke slice and candied ginger.
